Quikscribe Small Business features
 
 
The Quikscribe Small Business Package is designed to be turn key transcription solution, specifically designed for those who want set up or operate a home based or remote digital transcription business.
Digital dictation and transcription offers so many features over analogue (tape) based transcription. However setting up a business based on this new technology is not necessarily easy. The reason is, you need to change the way people (clients) think and work. It also requires that clients and potential clients to make a capital investment in digital dictation technology.
However with the new Quikscribe Small Business Package, all of this has changed.
Rather than requiring clients to invest capital to 'Go Digital', you can now offer them a risk-free way to switch to digital and it will cost them NOTHING - ZIP - ZERO - ZILCH.
The reason is, you can now provide your clients (and potential clients) with a FREE custom compiled version of the Quikscribe Author (which is a modified version of the QuikScribe Recorder.).
What's more, this custom compiled version of the Quikscribe Author has several unique benefits, so as to give you a competitive edge, as detailed below.
Each audio file created by the Quikscribe Author has a unique key within it, making it impossible for anyone except for YOU to transcribe the dictated audio file, as you are the only person who has the matching key within your modified version of the QuikScribe  Player.
To help market and grow your business, the splash screen for the Quikscribe Author is modified to include all of your business contact details. That way each time the Quikscribe Author is opened your details are also displayed. What this means is, your existing clients can distribute copies of your customized version of the Quikscribe Author to friends or business associates and as a result help grow your business.
Lastly, your e-mail address is actually hard coded into the custom compiled version of the Quikscribe Author, which means as soon as someone installs, records and sends an audio file, it will come straight to you via e-mail, just like a homing pigeon :-)
Depending on your marketing strategy, you can even offer new potential clients free transcription for x amount of audio, that way they can evaluate your service e.g. quality and turn around time.
If you don't have the upfront capital, but you already have existing clients who are using analogue, go to your clients and explain to them what you are planning to do, and perhaps get 2 or 3 of them to vendor finance the package for you, whereby you pay them back via future transcription work. Alternatively, you can purchase the standard QuikScribe Player (like most VA's do initially) and then upgrade to the Small Business Package later (once you have more cash-flow) by simply paying the difference.

We offer a choice of two "in your office" demonstrations styles. Either organise a date that suits you or where applicable request a rolling demonstration. Simply book a day and time that suits for our visit and we bring all relevant digital dictation software and hardware products we supply. The rolling demo works in such a way, we have you set us up in one of your office rooms, you simply inform all your relevant staff we will be sitting and waiting to demonstrate the very latest digital dictation systems we have available. Tips for dictating
Etiquette - Friendliness facilitates the dictation process. You can for example start by saying “hello” and greeting your secretary by name before dictating your text. At the end of your dictation remember to thank your secretary.  
Document Instructions - At the start of your dictation define the document type (letter, memo, fax, etc.). Say who it is for and how it should be sent out.
Preparation - Organize the structure for your dictation and gather all other documentation required, such as previous correspondence, tables, etc.
Pronunciation and Spelling - Before you start speaking, it’s a good idea to think of what you want to say to avoid unnecessary “ums” and “ers”.
